Borax Cleared My Face
After I had suffered nasty red rough areas and spots on my face for about 2-3 years, I was not sure what was causing this. Was it Eczema, Seborrheic Dermatitis, or something else? Finally, I came across an internet article about mites (or Demodex) living on facial skin and underneath it, causing all these symptoms.
Read how this natural remedy effectively eradicated mites and cleared my facial redness and rash.
This opened my eyes and got me on the right path to fixing my skin. I had tried most of the remedies advised on internet forums, as well as medical products including feared Accutane, but did not get lasting results from any of them. The cure for me was Borax spray(!). I had stumbled on information about the mites and managed to completely get rid of them. Yes, finally!
Images of facial redness caused by Demodex mites
Mites can cause redness that looks like rosacea.
I had red patches on both sides of my nose.
Demodex mites can move around.
Road to Clear Skin
I read up on Borax and saw that some people added it to a bath and had good results clearing rash from their body area. I tried it, but as the redness was only on my facial area (mostly on the cheeks near my nose), I got the idea to make a borax solution with water. I then dipped a cotton ball in the solution and kept that cotton ball on my redness area until it was dry. Of course, the solution was too harsh for my sensitive facial skin at first, but after a few tries, I learned the right dosage. I also found out that the best way was to administer it with a spray bottle.
Guide - How I Used Borax Spray
- Spray Borax Skincure mist on your rash/redness area. (No need to overdo it.)
- Take a small cotton ball and spray it until it's saturated and wet.
- Place the wet cotton on your rash area and wait until it's dry.
- That's it!
I did this in mornings and evenings, so that I would have an invisible borax coating on my face almost 24/7. I continued this over a month even though my skin was 90% clear in two weeks!
For fear of mites coming back, I have kept on doing this irregularly when I feel like it or maybe once a week.
Oh, and while you are using Borax Spray treatment, you might notice redness move slowly to different parts on your face. Just treat these areas too. Mites might be trying to move away from treatment.
I am really grateful to all people sharing their stories on the internet. Without all the stories about Eczema, Seborrheic Dermatitis, or Rosacea cures, I would never have learned to cure my facial redness. So thank you all, and I really hope this works for you too.
